Administrative Assistant to Lisa D. Jones
Tammy Wright has more than 29 years of experience in the financial services industry and has worked with Lisa D. Jones for the last six years. With a lifelong love of learning, she is currently working to obtain her Series 65 registration. Tammy says, “I am a people person and I really enjoy helping others. Here at Prime Capital Investment Advisors, it’s all about teamwork in serving our clients. I love what I’m doing, and working with Lisa has helped me to grow both personally and professionally.”
Prior to joining Prime Capital Investment Advisors, Tammy spent 14 years in consumer banking and nine years in investment banking helping consumers open retirement accounts like IRAs, as well as other investment accounts like CDs, mutual funds, and annuities. Making the switch from banking to investments was initially a challenge—but she found her niche and she loved it.
Tammy grew up 30 miles east of Springfield in Seymour, where she is a fifth-generation resident. She still lives there in order to be close to her parents. After graduating from high school, she attended College of the Ozarks where she studied agriculture and communications.
In her free time, Tammy loves to cook, especially for her son who competes in United States Strongman competitions. Her son, Kallun is currently attending Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri.
A self-proclaimed “football freak,” Tammy loves both college and NFL games, and she is a Green Bay Packers, OSU and Georgia fan. She is involved with local church organizations, including King’s Pantry food bank and thrift store. “I help out whenever I can,” she says.
Tammy adores thrift stores and “junking,” picking up unique furniture pieces. She says, “I love items with history and character. I never refinish them—their imperfections make my collection more beautiful and interesting.”
